Suspended in the air hundreds of feet above the Crooked River in Central Oregon, a group of highliners attempt to set the record for the longest highline in United States history - nearly a mile in length.
Between September 8 and September 15 2022, a group of highliners came together in Oregon to rig the longest known highline in the United States at 1540 meters, 70 meters short of a mile. Return to Sender, follows a group of highliners who came together in Central Oregon to rig and walk across the longest highline in U.S. history, just 70 meters short of a mile, stretching 500 feet above the crooked River. Throughout the event, we documented their efforts, showcasing the rigging process, community, risks, and mental & physical sensorial experiences of walking highlines.
This is the story of a devoted and driven community pushing the limits in the growing sport of highlining in the US.
