About Nate
Nate Stephens is a nature and adventure photographer & filmmaker from Chicago, currently living on the road. After receiving his Bachelor of Science in audio production, he began to pursue a variety of creative professions. He has worked as an audio engineer, musician, luthier, barista, coffee roaster, brand strategist, researcher, woodworker, photographer, and filmmaker.
He has traveled internationally to photograph rock climbing and highlining, produced outdoor recreation films, has had his photos published in various publications and has lived on the road full-time for four+ years. Documenting his experiences while traveling has deeply shaped his relationship and connection with the environment.
Nate aims to use photography & filmmaking to inspire others to develop a respectful relationship with the environment that we are all a part of.
